Where Veritype is today, what we're actively building next, and ideas we're exploring further out. Nothing below is a promise with a date attached — it's an honest look at our thinking, which will keep evolving.

Shipped

• Bias detection and counterargument generation, on selected text or a whole page
• AI/bot-content detection — hedged signals on whether text shows patterns common in AI-generated writing, never a verdict
• Similar Sources (Pro) — finding real coverage of the same story from outlets at a different point on the political spectrum
• Outlet ratings on two separate axes — political lean and factual record are judged and shown apart, because an outlet can argue openly from one side and still report accurately. Documented, dated, cited flags only, with disputed sources hidden unless you ask to see them. The method is public.
• Analyze the page you're reading without leaving the panel — no right-click round trip for every article
• A short history of your recent analyses, so switching tabs doesn't lose the report you were reading. Kept on your own machine, cleared when you close the browser
• Copy a report out — with real headings and bullets in Word, Docs and Outlook, and clean prose everywhere else
• Provenance on every report — when it was analyzed, by which model, and whether it came from a shared cached result rather than a fresh read
• Free, Pro, and bring-your-own-key tiers
• Self-service subscription management, including one-click cancellation
• Optional, privacy-conscious personalization
• Pinned quick-actions for Pro subscribers

Ideas we're exploring

• Inline highlight annotations — marking up the specific passages an analysis is referring to, directly on the page you're reading
• Related books & publications — pointing to longer-form material on a topic you're reading about
• YouTube transcript analysis, read aloud — extending analysis to video content, with the results spoken back to you

None of these are committed or scheduled — they're the directions we find most interesting right now.
