Three tiers, no ads, no selling your data on any of them. Pick whichever fits how you use Veritype.
Set up in the extension's settings.
Costs us nothing to run, so there's nothing to subscribe to. If it's useful, you can put something toward its development — it buys no extra features.
Other amountFree tier is a hard, published limit: 10 analyses per rolling 24-hour window, always visible in the extension so you know exactly where you stand.
One thing that works in your favour: if someone else has already analyzed the article you're reading, you get their result instantly and it doesn't use one of your ten. Analyses are stored by the content of the article rather than by who asked for them, so popular stories are usually free to read. The limit only ever counts work that actually had to be done from scratch.
Pro is marketed as effectively unlimited because for nearly every real reader, it is — the vast majority of Pro users will never come close to any limit. Behind the scenes there's a generous soft cap, purely to stop scripted abuse of the subscription, not to constrain normal reading habits. We're intentionally not publishing the exact number here: a published exact threshold just becomes a target to hit right up against, and the number itself may be tuned up or down over time as we learn real usage patterns and the service scales. If you ever have a legitimate, high-volume use case that bumps into it, tell us — we'd rather talk to you than have you hit an invisible wall.
Any future change to Free's published limit, Pro's price, or how soft caps work will be reflected on this page — we won't change the deal quietly.
No catch. No ads on any tier. We don't sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture, and FAQ for common questions including how to cancel.
